It ended up just being a meeting point since the pub was closed. I would have loved to have a bloody before the journey! We went out through the backside of Elsinore and ended up in Fallbrook. Note to self- when riding with guys who have adventure bikes be prepared to ride on dirt roads. There were 3 BMW GS 1200's, a Triumph scrambler, a Harley Road King, and me on my chop. The pavement came to an end and there was about a mile stretch of dirt/sand road. Keep in mind i run an open primary belt drive and this type of road is my ENEMY. If enough dirt/sand or a rock got under my belt i would have been stranded with a broken belt. I figured i was only 20 miles from home so if anything happened i could get someone to come pick me up or call AAA, so i went for it. The guy on the Road king didn't seem to happy about it either.
As we head down the road there were more obstacles. We had to cross 3 small creeks. I made it across the creeks but while doing so i broke one of the springs under my seat. These springs are the only suspension i have on my bike. So i rode the rest of the way with a fucked up seat. It really took a toll on my back cause i am used to having the springs.

We made it back onto paved roads and were on our way to Lake Cuyamaca for some Schnitzel! We couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was amazing
